Round Rock Stove External Feed

Description

This stove heater has an octagon shaped firebox to ensure even heat distribution to the rocks. The mesh sides are supported by 1/8″ metal staves that also act has heat sinks to transfer heat to the rocks. The firebox can accommodate standard 16″ logs. The stove holds about 5 – 5gallon pails of rocks. 1-2″ rocks work well for getting between the firebox and the sides down low, then larger rocks can be filled in above the firebox. The center section is double baffled to extract as much heat as possible before escaping from the stove. This stays hot long after the fire has died down and produces copious amount of steam. Heat up time is similar to a normal sauna stove despite the rocks. The rocks also act as a heat shield meaning distance to combustibles compares to stoves with heatshields on them. Stove is setup for 6″ flue pipe. The stove is 20″ diameter and stands 30″ tall on the 6″ legs
